Silent Imported Awesome-Ness

In my first blog, I talked about how awesome Japanese game-shows were. Well, apparently there so awesome, America decided that they should copy and also enjoy in the awesome-ness of Japanese game shows.

Now out of all of the imported shows, like Iron chef, my favorite is the show called Silent Library on MTV. The idea of the show is to complete insane tasks to win money. The hook is that the show takes place in a library and the competitors can't make any noise during the challenges.

I love this show. Thats all I have to add.

My Fair LadyBoy

My new favorite reality show:

Rupaul's drag Race
Mondays at 9:00pm on logo

This show is about a bunch of men, who work regularly jobs during the day, compete as drag queens (men dressed up as women) to win the top prize, which is to be named America's Next Top Drap Superstar.

What I like about this show is that it makes fun of every modeling competition that comes on TV. The lady's(he he) are twice as bitchy, catty, and gossipy. The judges are OverTheTop. The challenges are twice as crazy. I really enjoy this show because it is meant to be fun.

What I LOVE the most about this show is that We as views get to see inside a subculture that has been an underground for a really long time. In a way, Drag Queens are a form of under-appreciated art. They put together amazing outfits, they craft hair bigger than Texas, and pull out some crazy makeup jobs. I feel that, in a way, they are like modern walking versions of a Mona Lisa painting.

I know this might be a touchy topic because of societal views of gender and the gay and lesbian community. I happen to think that Drag Queens are a beautiful form of artistic expression.

Well, I am going off to enjoy the rest of my day. I'll remember to give Face(beautiful good looking face) and try not to throw any Shade (attitude).

A lesson in humilation

I love all relative television(i know, repetitive statement) from the drunken train wrecks of the real world, to the hot mess girls known as 16 and pregnant, and to the crazy *smize(not even a real word) with your eyes wacky American's next top model. But, I really REALLY like reality Game shows, especially Japanese game shows. What I really like about them is that they don't seem to take them as seriously as American game shows do. When I watch Japanese game shows, the contestants seem to be having fun competing and routing each other on.

With that being said, there HIlarious as hell. I enjoy watching contestants face plant into dirty muddy water, fall off of high insane obstacle courses, and just plain embarrassing themselves.

*smize is a made up word by tyra banks from America's next top model. It means to smile with your eyes.

I love reality television

I love reality television. I watch every single piece of reality TV that is currently on Television right now. I remember when I first started watching reality TV some 5 years ago. At first, I use to watch it now and then to make fun of all the people that embarrassed themselves on a national level. But Now its like an addiction. I have to watch reality television all day and everyday.
